I think you misunderstand.
The email I got on my PA bookings is to PAY for it before Sept 14 so to keep the same cost. If it remains a PA, when you pay the points, it would be subj to the whatever pricing required for the dates of your reservation.
My belief is Marriott system sends the above mentioned email to accounts have PA bookings because my husband does not receive the same email and his account has no PA booking.
FWIW when these e-mails went out I had one Points Advance booking for November (waiting to attach a cert) and did NOT receive an e-mail.
