Why not just tell the hotel? "I booked the room for two weeks but I have to leave now due to a change in travel plans. I am willing to pay for it for the full two weeks; please check me out at the end of the stay and e-mail me the folio." Or you could say that you plan to come and go over the two weeks but aren't sure exactly when.
Anyone ever tried this for an extended period? I have done it when I had to leave one day early.
There are GMs who would go along with it if advised in advance.
I don't believe there's any chance this will work for two weeks if the OP doesn't tell the front desk in advance.
