Hi. We are fairly new to the airmile credit card programs. We've had the Capital One Venture card for many years, currently with @ 90,000 "miles" (points) on it. We are looking for more aggressive cards, at this stage. We found helpful articles, with recommendations to acquire both the Chase Sapphire Reserve and the Freedom Unlimited cards. The goal would be to use the Sapphire Reserve card for dining and travel (3x miles), and use the Freedom Unlimited card (1.5 ultimate rewards....1.5 points per dollar) for everything else. Do you think this would be a good move? From what we've read, the Capital One Venture card was a good entry-level card, but it has a low airline transfer exchange rate. It seems like the Chase cards would be a better choice. If so, what can we do with our Capital One Venture miles? Once we obtain the Chase cards, is there a way to combine points? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
