I am waiting for Jaja and the other Fintechs to release their credit cards with 0% FX fees, the traditional banks should be improving their products, not making it worse in the face of competition!

If only Amex UK had the same benefits as Amex US, as in 0% foreign transaction fees and uber credits and metal card for the Amex Platinum!

I was on the phone with lloydsy, and they told me my current Avios Amex will be valid for at least 2 more months, I will use it for as long as I can, then when the card gets declined and suspended I will simply pay it off in full the next statement and then close the account for good. I won't bother with the Mastercard, really not worth the bother. Very few places I go to in the UK don't accept Amex, and for foreign trips and Lidl, etc., I will just use Halifax Clarity.
