When filing the cabin, they go left to right, fron to back. If they run out of seats in Y, then the start filing C+, followed by F. The earlier you check in the sooner you're assigned a seat. If you had waited and checked in last,you would've been assigned the last seat on plane. If this was in F, then you'd get a seat in F. Bottom line, checking in early robs you of any chance to get a better seat.
Where do they start? In the first row of economy, regardless of whether a seat is "preferred," or do they start by filling the non-"preferred" seats? Thanks.
