I was wondering do I need to pick up the baggage in LHR and re-check it in? (eg like LAX) or you just go to your next flight?

Because on the CX website they said you have to recheck for UK Domestic?

Can someone please clarify this who have travelled to EDI or MAN or anyother UK domestic cities?
