claes059 thanks for the review, a bit odd style of writing but thanks for taking the time to share your experience.
If you are Gold I am not sure why you thought you should be upgraded to a junior suite at this property or anywhere else for that matter. Sounds like the hotel was quite generous by giving you the upgrade, which you were not entitled to as per the Marriott terms and conditions. Regarding the comment about "loyal guest with preferences" how many times did you stay at this property? Loyal to Marriott, or loyal to this specific hotel? I have stayed at Sheraton Zürich 10+ times and they do indeed treat returning guests very well.
You also mentioned that you always stay in suites, this is strange given that you did not book a suite. It's hard to imagine that you have 100% success with suite upgrades despite not booking suites?
All suites I have stayed in this hotel had bathrobes. If they were inadvertently missing you can call reception.
Noise from the train tracks is one of the few weaknesses of this hotel, cannot deny it.
