The reservations manager mentioned that airport is slated to open around December 2019. They can fly you to another domestic airport and then bring you to the resort by speedboat for the same price as the seaplane. The domestic flight is 70 minutes and the speedboat is 50 minutes. Since the new airport isn't open you'd fly to Ifuru Domestic Airport. I believe you should be able to look up the flight times for your travel date. For my travel date there was a 5:30pm and a 11:10pm domestic flight.
My hotel reservation is late February so if construction goes as planned, I should be able to fly into the new airport which should make the boat ride a little shorter. Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate it! I'm guessing domestic flights aren't all that common so depending on the timings available, I might end up flying to Ifuru.
