Qatar JV - any disadvantages for booking with a BA issued ticket?

I have a trip to Jakarta coming up which I can book either through Qatar or BA , same price (actually BA.com is £1 cheaper), all flights on Qatar metal and flying Business. The Qatar ticket issues R class, the BA ticket I class. BA booking is with BA flight numbers, Qatar booking with QR flight numbers but identical flights.

Mileage will credit to BAEC either option.

The advantages I believe of booking with a 125.... ticket number are:

1. Paying using BE Amex attracts triple Avios
2. With BA marketed flight I receive a tier bonus whereas with QR ticket I won't
3. Although in this instance it isn't important to me the flights booked via BA would count as eligible flights for tier renewal. If booked via Qatar they won't

The disadvantage of booking with a 125... ticket number is:

1. If anything goes wrong with the flights before or during the trip I might get pushed from pilar to post between BA and Qatar trying to sort it out (I don't know if this is a real or just a perceived concern of mine?)

Are there any other pros or cons of booking with BA for Qatar metal instead of with Qatar direct I haven't considered. In the past I have always booked my Qatar travel direct with Qatar and not had any problems receiving the usual Oneworld benefits albeit I have noticed BAEC card holders do rank below Qatar Privilege card holders in terms of inflight service (albeit a very small difference).
