Hi,
EAPlus. Good of you to be here; your presence is appreciated. Thanks for clarifying your service and correcting my mistaken impressions.
The section of your post that I quoted is the main reason why I use MedJet. I don't want my evacuation to depend on
your decision about whether or not the hospital I'm in is capable of providing appropriate care; nor do I want you making a decision of which nearest hospital can provide the appropriate care. That's a decision I want to make in consultation with my doctor, or, if I'm unable to make it myself, I want my family and doctor to make that decision. And if I do have to be evacuated, I want to go home to Boston, where I have my doctor and hospitals, and a medical care system with which I'm both familiar and comfortable. I pay about $200 per year more than you charge; and, to me, it's worth it.
While I'm sure that your service will meet the needs of many, the ability to go back home in the event of serious accident or illness is important to me, and I'm willing to pay a little more for it.
