At Conrad Tokyo, 2nd guest free can be applied if you're a party of 2+2, because 2+2 is essentially same as 2+0 in that kids stay free as long as they're <17yo. So OP can do 1+2 for his/her party of 2+2 (as long as kids are <17yo) and then let the hotel know that they're Diamond and that there's actually a 2nd adult guest.

At Hilton/DT Chatan, 2+2 is 4+0 if kids are 6yo and over. And if you're a party of 4 or 3 or anything that's over 2, then you cannot apply the 2nd guest free.
