I'm currently at domestic UC SFO, just arrived from TPE. My 0741 flight SFO-RNO is cancelled. The 1111 flight SFO-RNO is cancelled. The next flight is 4 pm, and who knows yet about it. So I accepted (reluctantly) SFO-LAX-RNO, arriving 8 hours late.

This is a nightmare. UA needs to do much, much more in managing SFO arrivals and departures during this period. Waiting until the morning to cancel flights is a disaster.
