Cancelling a flight / refund
Looking at securing 6 adult seats later next year for holiday - Christchurch to Orlando. Although AIR NZ ticketed this means UA stateside - generally Houston to Orlando leg / return. Given the sixth person is a boyfriend, I'm a bit worried about buying the tickets to find they are no longer an item in 9 months etc. While appreciating the type of ticket is important re cancellations etc what is the general rules for cancelling / refunding 1 ticket out of a package given overseas carrriers etc or is it fairly standard. Also, should i be speaking to the call centre and specifying the type of ticket when purchasing as I normally do it all through the web and just press the buy now etc when dates and times confirmed..
