Have not seen a Sambo’s in years, they opened here many years ago great place, next thing they had pickets marching outside, a lot of us ate there, it was a busy place.

Nothing racist about the place. It was a real mix crowd.

NAACP came in and hurt many of the locals who worked there, they finally closed, the place set empty for many years, never was the same..

Cafe du Monde is a real winner bring a real smile,
