It seems like this could be a good opportunity for a pair of people -- one with money but no time, and the other with time but not enough money. Assuming that they could trust each other to follow through, both could have lifetime GS (one as the 4MM and one as the chosen person for status match). I realize that there are a lot of ways in which this could go wrong, but...

You might imagine that one person fronts around $50k and all of the time and the other around $130k but none of the time, for example.

Unfortunately I have neither the time nor the money , but am happy to be nearing 1MM with around 20-30 more years of flying ahead of me. If only I hadn't spent those first few years accumulating around 650,000 miles on DL...
