Before CX pulled PEY on HKG-Middle East I was a frequent flyer in PEY to Dubai, Riyadh, and Bahrain. On one occasion I was the only person in PEY, and the others you could count the numbers in the cabin on the fingers of one hand. PEY just did not work for CX to the Middle East. Incidentally the reason I was in PEY was because Business was often full also with high fares.

In economy CX packs out with guest workers especially Filipinos, it is very popular with them, and one of the reasons Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific each have a daily flight MNL-DXB and Emirates has 3 per day.
