AA did not drive anybody to do this. He chose this reckless action on his own. AA is not forcing him against his will to work for the company. And he chose to remain employed by them; and AA paid him for his hours worked. Moreover, I seriously doubt that any of his colleagues would have given him the thumbs up had they known what he was doing. After all, their friends, familiy, and co-workers could have been on that flight. This guy has much much deeper problems than just being upset with his employer.
