I’d rather get some points to use for a future trip/first class ticket. That use case would exceed the 1.25cpp value of using 7,500 points toward the $95 fee

I stand corrected, I did miss the 'using' part.
I called in today to see if there were any offers to retain my Citi Premier (first AF hit in Aug 2019, only MSR ~4k spend in total). No offers given, PCed down to the Rewards+.
