But seriously, they can say 40 days with a straight face?
Yes, they do quote 40 days for non status pax. If it is anything remotely 'difficult' like refunding a partly used ticket for example it will take weeks. Simple stuff will still generally take more than a week. SE100 (me included) tend to get more rapid 24-48 hr responses.
