The quick layover in Lisbon went perfectly except perhaps for a tiny bit of difficulty locating the Uber stand. The restauant we picked (Taverna Sal Grosso, see New York Times review over the summer) was absolutely amazing. I have never eaten so well for so little in my life and probably will never do so again.

The fast track access for security was good insurance - probably not at all necessary in the end but I was happy I had it just in case.
