When I called Delta today, they said that they can see the KTN on my already existing reservations, but that they do not access it through the website as of course I have to do.
So I guess that there is nothing that I can do to get the KTN to appear in the secure passenger data field in my flight reservations, only in my Delta profile. Not sure why this is the case.

It is not a huge deal. When you get your boarding passes at the kiosk/baggage drop, check if you get TSA PreCheck in your boarding pass. If not, then just ask the agent to check for your KTN and they can re-add it if its not already there and re-print the boarding pass with it. Also, keep in mind that PreCheck is
not a guarantee. Despite the KTN, I've hit one time where I did not get PreCheck and one time where I got SSSS'd.
