It's only a hour flight, and in the middle of the afternoon I wouldn't expect a full meal. A Band 1 afternoon tea isn't much more.
Even the tiny (and I mean TINY) open sandwiches + 1 piece of chocolate you get on A3 domestic is preferable to this one. At least it's not a sweet overload.
BA afternoon tea also doesn't come with just sweet things on any of the bands.
