Except that when it comes to BA people do expect a meal - because 'people are connecting and they're on a different time zone,' or 'people did not have time to eat before the flight and eating on the plane may be their only chance to eat,' or the multitude of other reasons why BA should provide meals at all times that we can find in relevant threads. I can only assume that those reasons do not apply to Lufthansa.
