To be clear, what is photographed is what was served to J cabin on a mid afternoon TXL to FRA flight. There was no choice and I was addressed in German so accepted the tray before my brain had caught up with what was being offered. I sent the tray back untouched I’m afraid as it was the last thing I wanted. Not sure if that was also a long bar of chocolate - or milk (for the tea and coffee that wasn’t proactively offered...) but suffice to say I took the photo in disgust!

On the way out I have received a salad with dessert and warm bakery pass, so was surprised by return catering.
