Just curious, in what order did you try them, and did you give it a bit of time before trying the drams.

Sometimes the flavour of a previous whisky in your mouth can influence the flavour of the whisky you are trying after that one.

As I've had Chivas before, and keep a bottle at home, I'd probably drink that dram last.
