That doesn't really add context as 7 USD, while high for fruit doesn't barometer it against what the rest of the stay cost. At a store, a dozen bananas likely cost something like 40 rupees. Which means he paid 65 times the market rate for a banana. Which is absolutely absurd.

Also, the whole stay likely cost him a hundred USD odd per night, which makes this even more crazy.
