Thank you for this information about extending an awards ticket. I was not aware of this option for $50. I have one expiring late October that I would like to use next year so this is good news. In 2003 I had one expire unused because of a family member being hospitalized. WN CSR later told me that they would have extended it for six months.
I found FT about 3 weeks ago and have been reading it daily. I have found it to be very helpful. Over the last 4 years I've lost count of the awards tickets I've earned from WN. Just wish I was flying front left seat r/t riding in the cabin.
