Difficulties in getting a ticket receipt

In expensing a trip I discovered I did not have a copy of a recent 001 ticket in my google email. It seemed strange as I tend to keep everything and just archive messages. I went on AA's site and requested a copy via the ticket number and surname. The system gave an error. I called the EXP line and asked for a receipt. They were surprised I could not get it online, but worked on it in a while and was told I'll get it in the next hour or so. 24hrs went and I still had no receipt (yes, I checked my spam folder, etc). I called again the EXP line. The agent worked on it for a while; then she told me that she created a further itinerary that she queued to the ticketing team, who apparently deal with this, and that I should have it in the next 24hrs. It's now 3 days since that call and still have not got hold of the ticket. I now wonder whether I ever got the ticketing email in the first place (I can find messages for the itinerary on hold, for check in etc, but not the ticketing one, and I checked in with the app). If I check the PNR she created, I can see it's a valid PNR but no flight detail, nor price comes up. I am getting their emails - in fact I even purchased another itinerary in the meantime and got the ticket OK.

What's wrong? Any suggestions other than calling again?
