Nope. Activated two of each as soon as they arrived. That’s all I need to max them out each month.
I’ll probably activate 1 more of each and leave the rest dormant. Then when the next shutdown wave hits I’ll immediately close one of each of my currently active cards and apply for a new one of each. I figure that’ll give me the best chance of keeping something alive. At the very least, it’ll give enough different DPs to see what works to avoid shutdown.
I’ve got P2-6 lined up as a backup in case my SSN gets blocked and everything gets closed.
I highly doubt the old strategy would work with another shutdown. I think any active cards (up to 6 months) would be shut-down. The only way to avoid is not to use it for, say, 1 year or so. How can you predict the incoming shut-down?
