My flight was booked with Iberia and it's a BA operated flight. As the cancellation is due to a strike by Iberia ground staff, what is the situation with EC261 compensation. Should I be due €250 or should the strike action of Iberia ground staff be considered far enough beyond BA's control that it would be an extraordinary circumstance? Even though they are part of the same group!
IIRC strikes by airline employees are not "extraordinary". Strikes by third party airport staff are.
