For me your story is very weird. It starts with the point when you contacted LH. Why did you contact them just 90 minutes before TO of the flight KEF? Why not 3 days, 10 day, 1 months earlier? I assume you wanted to put LH under time pressure in order to get the rebooking for free. This does not work with LH, nor with any other airline.
