I stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions in the recent past. I'm returning in September. My experience with noise was the opposite of yours.

IMHO, this is a risk of staying at ANY hotel in the world, even the very best. I've never known of or stayed at a hotel that had sound-proof rooms.

This is not a hotel for someone who works graveyard, you will be woken up every day.
If I was a regular daytime worker, I think this would have been a fine option for a moderately short stay. But I wouldn't do another long stay as there is much more to do in Makati or BGC.
You are a Diamond member. You stayed for 11 nights. Did you notify the management that you would be needing to sleep during the day, and politely ask if any accommodation could be made for reducing daytime noise near your room? If not, I recommend trying that approach for any future stays when you need a quiet room. My personal experience with the management of this property leads me to believe they would have bent over backwards to accommodate your needs.
