The value of various loyalty points has been, and will continue to be, debated ad naseum. It is a purely subjective determination, based on each individual’s travel preferences and financial situation. For example, many folks use miles and points for premium travel that they would never pay cash for. Everyone’s situation is different. The value that I place on UR points varies from trip to trip. And none of those values have any relevance to anyone else.
