I have no issue with these dispenser type of toiletries. However hotels sometimes failed to keep the dispenser in presentable condition.
Dirty dispensers definitely won't make good impression for any hotel.

SO Sofitel Singapore and Four Seasons Jimbaran did use these refillable dispenser for toiletries and they manage to keep the dispensers in very good condition.
Some budget type hotels use the wall mount dispenser and it does looks awfully dirty
