HI Sukhumvit Soi 22, 3 days, reward nights. Was told my room was upgraded, no basis to compare what about it was an upgrade. No breakfast included but gave 40% discount for spire member.
HI resort Au Nong, 4 night, paid pool access room. Was told they did not upgrade me because of pool access room reserved. Had already included breakfast in reservation for extra charge not expecting it.
Intercontinental Bangkok, 5 rewards nights. Was offered breakfast or cocktails, chose breakfast. Was told my room was upgraded, no basis to compare what about it was an upgrade except when in the elevator with other guests it never stopped on a floor below ours... But overall a beautiful hotel with great access to light rail and shopping centers and treated very nicely.
