on an almost daily basis, there is a new thread asking why AA uses this plane instead of that plane or complaining about using a 757/737/regional jet on a particular route.

can't we just assume that the MBAs in dallas that have access to all of the data (loads, fare classes typically bought per route, etc.) are using said data to maximize the profits of the airline thereby hopefully keeping said airline afloat thereby increasing the probability that said MBAs will stay employed thereby insuring paychecks and (flight) benefits to/for said MBAs?
