I works just like any other airline purchase with Chase. Cash price divided by .015 (assuming CSR). You will (usually) pay slightly less points by transferring on the lower fares and slightly more on the higher fares, but I would always transfer anyway. Much easier and more flexible.
Thank you. You seem to know what I am talking about. Just thought if I bought a SWA ticket with UR points (rather than transfer them to RR), I could not only take advantage of the 50% bonus using them that way, but would also earn RR points for purchasing a SWA ticket for what SWA considers as cash. Does it work that way?
