Wouldnt LAX-DTW, LAX-MSP, SFO-DTW, SFO-MSP, SEA-DTW, SEA-MSP, MSP-LAS, DTW-LAS warrant the use of larger aircraft due to the demand for these services?
The 757-200 and 757-300 have the lowest cost per seat mile of any large jet aircraft. This is why the DC-10's and 747's have all but disappeared on domestic routes. It no longer makes economic sense to have these huge aircraft on domestic routes.
