Bumping this old thread to report that we had a very pleasant one-night stay this past weekend, using one of my Cat 1-4 free night certs. As an Explorist, I was given a room on the top (sixth) floor, per my preference. Our view was to the North and there's a new building being built just across the street; right now, it's just the underground parking floor and a bit of the ground floor. Rooms facing South or East should have nicer views. The room seemed a little smaller than other Hyatt Places but it was still comfortable. I did notice enough wear and tear to suggest it's about time for a light refurbishment. Bottled waters were given out freely to all guests checking in and out. The morning breakfast was solid and seemed better-than-average, in terms of options and quality. The staff were also very pleasant and there was ample free parking, even with the hotel being sold out the night we were there.
The location was convenient to do some suburban shopping in the area before driving back to NYC.
