[QUOTE=w

I've never used Uber. I don't know if I can sign up and make my first trip in a foreign country. I'd be a bit concerned about not being able to let them know if my flight is delayed.[/QUOTE]

I'm in Canada, in a town without Uber, but use it when I travel in the US and parts of Canada and absolutely love it. The trick for me at an airport is finding out where you pick up an Uber. You order it when you need it and, at least in NA, you see how many cars are around you and available. You see how long until your ride arrives (on a map) and you get the name and picture of the driver as well as the make /model of the car. You get a pretty accurate estimate of the cost before you get in and you don't need to give cash or a card (all is taken care of via the app) and you just worry about the tip. It's a great service and feels very secure!
