I don't see the huge demand for JFK-MIA. Sure there are lots of flights, but AA has to discount them and sell for under $200. With all the competition from NYC - FLL they can't be making much money on the route. I recently booked MIA-JFK $156 all in. The funny thing is that I could have beat that price using another carrier flying out of FLL. Seems like a waste of the 777 to me.
