That there are domestic routings that can't be ticketed online but can be over the phone? Logical ones (as opposed to Mileage Runs)? I've had no problems books tickets on nwa.com that involved NW-only routes or NW-partner combo routes (such as to SBP on American Eagle).
Without even getting started about partner codeshares (say you want NW metal out, CO metal back which you can't do online), try this:
1. Go to
www.nwa.com
2. On the front page, enter SFO to TPA, dep Jan 15 Anytime, ret Jan 16 Anytime
3. Click Search
Result:
No Northwest Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, or codeshare partner flights were found between San Francisco (All Locations), CA (SFO) and Tampa (All Locations), FL (TPA) that matched your request. Check our service destinations and routes.
There may be limited service to or from these destinations. Try modifying your search options on nwa.com Reservations to the left (including a change to your cabin class, dates of travel or city pairs) or search for alternatives on our partner sites, listed below.
Now we know that's not true, and if you tweak the times or search by schedule, you can get results, but why can't the site return some reasonable results on a simple query like that?
