Hey all. Quick question ... can I apply a BXP1 to a family member’s reservation or it can only be used for myself?

Secondly, if the family member is traveling with me on the same flight, is it better to link their pnr with mine (for sticker upg, I’m Plat); or do they stand a better chance being waitlisted under BXP1?

Thank you in advance. Would greatly appreciate the answer to one or both questions.
