Looking for a bit of clarification around a BA holidays booking.

Flights GLA-LHR-ARN 11th September - I received an email saying these were cancelled. Return flights on 25th September are not cancelled. I have not received a follow up email detailing the options which BA said they would be sending out.

I then have hotel booking in SIN from 13th to 24th September. Flying QR ex ARN.

According to the guidance on the BA strike page, BA have refunded all BA Holidays bookings but also protected the non flight portions and that they would advice the price for these.

Would the price of the hotels be based on what was originally paid as part of the BA Holidays booking rather than the current hotel rates which for SIN are expensive due to the F1 race?

Given that BA say they have refunded all BA holidays bookings on their website, am I as well rebooking with another carrier?
