Got cancellation email, but Manage My Booking shows the flight in red, and there is no obvious "Rebook" option. So I am dubious as others are as to whethe rit is really cancelled.
It is ridiculous that they send out such an email which may or may not be accurate, and then not be able to field calls to answer questions about what appears to be a glitch that could cause people to go and book another replacement flight unnecessarily.
This is all very time sensitive and I am stuck not knowing what to do due to the lack of clarity from British Airways' system and down phone lines.
You could try tweeting BA, the team are 24/7 usually very good and will call you and offering to help people tweeting to say they aren’t happy with BA.
As an aside, it seems lots of people are cancelling and getting refunds because even the BA helpdesk can’t book them on supposed acceptable alternatives. Good luck to everybody trying to get your trips sorted.
