I have not received any notification of cancellation but my flights (LHR-CPT) were on the first day of the strike. The agent said no firm decision had been made that the flights were cancelled. After speaking to a supervisor she agreed the flights from Sun-Tue were showing no availability. I got a free re-booking pulling forward the outward flight to the first available flight 2 days early.
I am happy that I was quick to get suitable alternative dates that I am sure will not be available for too long. It was good receiving updates on flyertalk on what others were managing to re-book.
