I only used my UnionPay card once at 99 Ranch to claim a UnionPay merchant offer. I thought PBOC was supported, but I could be mistaken. I can try CVS today with my card and report back. (I imagine the QuickPass support is the same on both cards.)
Results of contactless UnionPay testing:
McDonalds - YES, works with UnionPay contactless card! Receipt shows same AID as when you use UnionPay chip card insert
Walgreens - NO UnionPay contactless support (terminal said "Card not supported"), despite it working with chip card insert at same store
