My family is also Star Gold and they've never asked us for weight. Technically the limit is 8kg and 55x40x20cm, but we carry 56x40x23 and 11-12kg but they don't really enforce.

Note that anything larger than a mid-size backpack is gate-checked on Q400. Not a standard US gate check though, for example you don't get a regular bag tag and they won't bring it to your connecting flight.

In economy if you don't have status (which you do), they may ask for weight and offer free baggage check-in, but in the priority line they don't ask.

EDIT: This is info if you're flying from ZAG, or connecting onto OU. Not sure about when you originate with OU not in ZAG
