Long story short I had been mildly panicking thinking there were potentially mass cancellations based on a computer failure or similar, but luckily once I finally got through I discovered only this flight seems to have been affected. They offered to rebook the identical trip a day earlier, which sounds great to me - an additional vacation day in Glasgow, which I've wanted to visit forever.
The agent did say they were having trouble with the website which was likely why the wait time was so long. FYI. I'm going to have to call back later for a seat assignment.
