Yes, that change has been in place for about a year. But as bdubs7 noted, there's been discussion of this and DPs show it isn't always (or even usually?) enforced. There is reason to believe that if you meet the old 24 month rule, and haven't made Barclay unhappy with you (like, by not using your previous card enough), they won't enforce this.
Thanks for this info. I wonder why no one updated the WIKIPOST and removed the 24 month rule a year ago. I plead with all members to please update the WIKI when ever they notice a change in the rules, points offered, etc.
For folks that don't follow threads closely the WIKI can offer a wealth of information. I did remove the 24 month info and added the new wording. For those that are regulars on this thread, or any other, it would be a great help to update the WIKI as soon as possible. Thanks in advance.
